Chameli Devi Group of Institutions (CDGl) develops advanced business skills in a manner that accommodates the demanding schedules and needs of the today’s corporate world. Our MBA Program (FT-2 years) is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Indore, Approved by AICTE New Delhi. CDGI’s MBA program was inaugurated by veteran entrepreneur Shri N.R. Narayana Murthy, Chief Mentor of Infosys.
Team Building, effective communication, decision making and Analytical thinking are core components of MBA Program. Our students participate in various field work, live group projects, simulation and case studies that develop interpersonal skills, communication skills among them and help them to improve leadership skills. Public Speaking, Presentation and Seminars develop students to effectively communicate and deliver and present their views at corporate forums. These presentations are further evaluated by corporate professionals to create best among students. Our case study writing and analysis session develop students in logical thinking approach and decision making.

Management Department has designed and enriched the curriculum framed by academicians, professionals, corporate experts keeping in view the present dynamic business environment. The curriculum is designed to make students employable and industry ready.
Management Department believes in imparting quality education to students by providing value additions in the form of Case studies, role plays, related software studies, live projects and assignments, industry expert talks, seminars and workshops.
In Management Program, students are initially groomed by concerned faculty members, handed over to professionals and industry experts for further advancement and enrichment.
MBA program has tie-ups with Microsoft, MSME, NEN, CII, IMA, Yi, etc. These associations will help students in understanding industry requirements, latest trends, employment opportunities etc. and assist them to prepare for corporate world.
CDGI offers globally recognized one year training and certification program on Six Sigma accredited by International Association of Six Sigma Certification (IASSC). This certification will help students to develop their knowledge base in Quality Control and Total Quality Management. Certified students data will be available to corporate looking for six sigma as additional qualification for job opportunities, project development etc.

MBA department has conducted two days FOREX workshop in 2011with an objective toimpart knowledge in the field of export/import, foreign exchange, trade and administration, FEMA 1999, Letter of credit; exports finance exchange rate mechanism international logistics, port operation and shipping logistics.
MBA department organized case writing workshops in 2011 for faculty members of different institutes where eminent personalities are invited from leading academic/ industry for lectures on Case development and writing. Faculty members prepare cases on different subject areas which were lateranalysed and discussed in distinctive way and with interactive layout.
MBA Department has hosted Syllabus Review Workshopin 2011 under the regulation of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalaya, Indore. The agenda of the workshop was to prepare the framework for amendments in the syllabi of MBA (DAVV level) and BBA (state level) and allied courses.
As teaching and research are complimentary to each other in academic domain, MBA department organized a research methodology workshop in 2011 providing a strong research base to faculty members.
The National paper writing workshop was conducted by MBA department in 2012 to infuse the art of paper writing among the participants and to advance them towards the area of research and development.
MBA Department has organized National Conference on “Refurbishing facets of Management Concepts for New World Order”in 2012 where in leading academic/ industry research experts presented papers on different management aspects. The conference intends to motivate the faculty to actively participate in research activity involving the neighbouring industrial sector.
MBA Department has organised Executive development program for leading corporate persons and executives in 2012. Mr. Sharu Rangnekar has addressed the gathering on the theme of Quality Circle and Kaizen.
CDGI’s MBA department publish its Bi annual Management Journal- Enqueter. The journal have articles reflecting diversity, cross-functional nature of management and emerging concerns from the areas such as finance, accounting, marketing, operations management, human resource management, statistics, international business, information technology, environment, risk management, globalization and related areas.
The faculty members and students of Masters of Business Administration actively participated in “22nd IMA International Management Conclave 2013” by IMA on the theme “Transforming Leadership- Getting Future Ready” at Abhay Prashal, Indore conducted on 19th - 20th January 2013.
