Five Faculty Members of the IT department were awarded by SRIJAN 2019 for 100% results. SRIJAN award is given to faculty who have helped the students to reach the topmost position in the RGPV University results.

Mr. Radheshyam Acholiya has successfully completed NPTEL Online Certification and Faculty Development Program on "Accreditation and Outcome Based Education".
Expert Talk organized on “Expectation from Engineering Students” on 9 June by TCS, Indore. Mr. Gaurav Ghelani, Academic Relation Manager-India West & Central was the resource person for the talk.
Aptitude Training was organized for students by Zensar ESD RPG foundation from 22nd Feb- 4th March 2021. Mr. Nachiket Joshi was the resource person for the training program.
Technical Training was organized for students by Zensar ESD RPG foundation from 15th Feb- 20th Feb 2021. The training was given on the “Python” module. Mr. Avinash Pathak was the resource person for the training program.
The training was organized based on the pattern of AMCAT Test for second-year students from 17th to 23rd December 2020. Mr. Nand Kishore Sharma, Mr. Sudhir Lambhate and Mr. Salman Zia was the resource person for the training.
Technical training was organized by the Zensar ESD RPG foundation from 30th October to 24th November 2020. The training was given on the “Core Java” module. Mr. Manav Bhartiya was the resource person for the training.
Technical training was organized by the Zensar ESD RPG foundation from 19th October to 29th October 2020. The training was given on the “PL/SQL” module. Mr. Jay Vegesna was the resource person for the training.
The training was organized based on the pattern of the AMCAT Test for final year students. Mr. Abhishek Verma was the resource person for the training.
One Day webinar organized on “Corporate Expectation after COVID-19” under TEQIP-III, RGPV Bhopal on 25th July 2020. Mr. Meetesh Jha, CEO-Anju Pharmaceuticals, and Ms. Pratibha Agrawal, Founder Fresh Learning Academy was the resource person for the webinar.
One Day webinar organized on “Intellectual Property Rights & Patenting (IPR)” under TEQIP-III, RGPV Bhopal on 11th July 2020. Mr. Padmin Buch (Senior IPR Domain Expert & Project) and Dr. Prachi Pandey (Regd Patent Agent) was the resource person for the webinar.
15 Days STTP organized on “DATA ANALYTICS USING R” under TEQIP-III, RGPV Bhopal from 5th July to 20th July 2020. Dr. Ashish Parejiya (Data Scientist and Member of CSI, Senior Manager of Piramal Group of Industries) was the resource person for the STTP.
Two Days Online workshop organized on “Cyber Security & Ethical Hacking” under TEQIP-III, RGPV Bhopal on 4th and 5th July 2020. Mr. Ajinkya Lohokare, CTO of Social Spectra and Dream-Soft Mumbai was the resource person for the workshop.
Students of the CSE & IT department attended a webinar on “AI-based Online Recruitment Process” held on 17th June 2020 under the Department of Training & Placement of Chameli Devi Group of Institution. Mr. Jasmeet Sethi (AVP, Aspiring Minds) was the resource person for the webinar.
Two Days online workshop organized on “Emotional & Social Intelligence” under TEQIP-III, RGPV Bhopal on 13th and 14th June 2020. Dr. Sandeep Atre (Founder-Director, Socialigence) was the resource person for the workshop.
Five Days Faculty Development Program Organized on “Data Analytics using R” under TEQIP-III, RGPV Bhopal from 8th to 12th June 2020. Resource persons under this FDP were as follows: Dr. Ashish Parejiya, Dr. Mohit Jha, Mr. Amit Jain, Dr. Vivek Tiwari, Dr. Ramgopal Kashyap, Dr. Shikha Sharma, and Mr. Shailendra K Mishra.
Two Days online workshop organized on “Opportunities and Challenges in IT Industry after Covid-19" Under TEQIP-III, RGPV Bhopal on 6th and 7th June 2020. Resource persons under this workshop were as follows: Mr. Jayraj Sharma (Head Talent Acquisition, Webduniya Diskpark), Ms. Mrinallini (Talent Acquisition Specialist TCS Mumbai), Ms. Sharddha Chaturvedi (Founder and CEO InfosecEngine), Mr. Sakti Nandan (Campus Lead, TCS, Mumbai) & Mr. Manan Jain (HR Lead, Yash Technology).

10-Days summer school hands-on workshop on Python Programming (from scratch) Phase-I was organized from 1st June to 11th June 2021. Mr. Nand Kishore Sharma was the resource person for this workshop.
24 Hours Programming Competition was organized on 27th March 2021. This provides an opportunity for students to improve their Programming Skills as well as Logic building techniques.
Technical event “K!ode Storm” was organized on 14th March 2021. The focus of this event was to showcase coding skills with basic knowledge in Data Structures, OS, DBMS, and OOP’s.
2-days Expert Talk on C/C++ was organized on 5th & 6th Feb 2021 to boost technical skills for first-year students by Universal Informatics.
An Online Competitive Coding Competition was organized on the “Image-Tech Challenge” on 19th December 2020 for engineering students of the First Year. This provides an opportunity for students to improve their basic knowledge of computers.
An Online Competitive Coding Competition "hackfest3” was organized on 19th December 2020 for second-year engineering students. "hackfest3” is one of the most logistic and conceptual based coding competition for students which provide a golden opportunity for students to improve their coding skills.
24 hours online programming contest based on the "C & C++ Programming Questions” was organized on 12th and 13th December 2020 for all the engineering students.
On the occasion of Engineer's Day, a technical quiz based on the C/C++ programming language was organized.
An Online Competitive Coding Competition was organized on 9th & 10th September 2020. The competition was organized on the “Hacker-Rank” platform.
An Online Competitive Coding Competition first round was organized on 26th & 27th August 2020. Participants in this competition were students of the second and third years. In the first round of the competition, real-time programming questions were given to students on the “Hacker-Rank” platform. The second round was held on 3rd September 2020.
A Programming Competitive contest for first-year students were organized on 1st Feb 2020, which provides an opportunity for students to improve their Basic Knowledge of computers.
A Programming and Logic Building MCQs-based competition was organized on 25th Jan 2020.
