CDGI has always maintained a concrete vision for the training which is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of academic program of the students and their entry into the suitable employment or the corporate world.
Department of Training is an integral part of the institution which organizes training programs from first semester onwards as mock interviews, group discussions, case studies, etc. The department extends all possible help and provides all available infrastructure facilities to the external organizations and their respective trainers to conduct mock interviews, teststo groom students for all competitive exams and improve their personality. The training cell imbibes the following objectives:
• Know the Importance of employability and employers' expectations.
• Assist students to develop their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counselling and group discussion
• Empower students with life long career decision making skills
• Provide resources and facilitate the career planning process
The institute has well established training department which consists of experienced trainers with industrial experience. The training department has customized training modules for each semester.
First year: The training in the first year is totally focused to create a strong base for communication thus enhancing their confidence level.
Second year: The training philosophy in the second year focuses on introduction to aptitude, technical sessions and advance English concepts of soft skills.
Third year: The training philosophy in the third year focuses on advance concepts of Aptitude, technical sessions focusing on technical interviews and soft skills. Exclusive training on lean six-sigma to improve the employability of the students.
Fourth Year: Special need based pre placement trainings to the students for the placement season.
CDGI took various noble steps for giving the students an opportunity to undergo a thorough career counselling process. Based on inputs from students, the career choices were classified in four categories:

• Opting for Placement
Based on thisclassification, department organized specific sessions catering to the choices mentioned by all students to shape their careers.
