Chameli Devi School of Engineering is being affiliated to RGPV, Madhya Pradesh and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Information Technology

The Information Technology department is dedicated to create innovators and researchers. Students are given a strong foundation in Computer Science and Information Technology related subjects that include electronics and hardware. This allows students to master the subject and carry out projects in the related subject. IT Workshops are conducted to impart mastery in the use of the latest software technologies from third semester. The courses in mathematics, sciences, engineering and humanities enable students to explore the wider applications of Information Technology. The department has the best infrastructural facilities with spacious and well furnished seminar halls, class rooms, tutorial rooms and teaching aids like OHPs, LCD projectors, Smart Board. All the laboratories are very well equipped with high quality resources and facilities for the students and staff to utilize and at the same time gain and imparts knowledge. Most of the faculty members are Post Graduate and pursuing research in their respective area of interest.

Mr. Preetesh Purohit, Associate Professor and Head of Information Technology department has been selected for Ph.D. program; as a GATE qualified Candidate in Computer Engineering Department of IET, DAVV.

Mr. Jasvant Mandloi, Assistant Professor has been awarded Drona Award by IBM, Bangalore for guiding Software Project.
