Electronics & Communication is a branch of engineering that is gaining prime importance both in the domestic and industrial sectors. Today electronic systems are becoming an integral component of almost every simple or complicated systems. This has increased the need of Electronics & Communication engineers in the manufacturing & maintenance sectors. In order to meet the ever growing need of Electronics & Communication engineers CDSE started with the Electronics & Communication branch in the year 2006 with an intake of 60 & then the intake was increased to 90 in the year 2008. The dept. has carved a special niche for itself in this prestigious institution due to the reputation it has earned over the years as a well maintained & organised department.

The department has the best infrastructural facility which is more than the stipulated AICTE norms. It also has a team of highly motivated staff that takes immense care in training their students & provide them with a cutting edge which is so very important in this competitive placement arena. The students are meticulously trained in co-curricular & extra curricular activities in addition to their regular & hectic academic schedule. Due to the efforts of the staff members, students have been doing quite well both in curricular & co-curricular activities. The department has 1 Professor, 4 Asst. Professors & 10 Lecturers.
