Chameli Devi School of Engineering

Baptized in an endearing spirit, Chameli Devi School of Engineering took its first step in July 2006 with a vision to design future scientifically. Within a short span of 5 years the Institute has attained a strong footing amongst all the technical colleges of Madhya Pradesh. 

Chameli Devi School of Engineering is being affiliated to RGPV, Madhya Pradesh and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

Machine shop training has been conducted by the industrial expert on lathe, milling and shaping m/c during Sept to Jan 2012-13. Total 83 students of BE third year have been trained.

Automobile workshop has been organized by experts from Ocean Motors during Nov-Dec2012.Around 40 students have participated in the workshop.

One week Auto CAD workshop has been conducted by Indo German Tool Room in Feb 2013 and trained 40 students.

Three weeks Pro-E training and ANSYS has been conducted by Techno-Smart solution Pvt. Ltd. In Mar -April2013 and trained 25 Student.

Mechanical Department has been awarded the BEST DEPARTMENT in CDSE, Indore in Spectrum 2013.

Two week ISTE WORKSOP on Engineering Thermodynamics has been conducted by Institute of Technology Bombay from 11th to 21st December, 2012, Workshop coordinator, Swapnil Bhurat & Teaching Assistant, Deepak Bhonde.

Industrial tour had been organized for Final year BE studrnts at Ranbaxy Dewas & Eicher Motors, Pithampur in Feb. 2013.

Group of 10 students from all departments were taken to RRCAT on Science Day in Feb 2013.

NSS ACTIVITY

On August 2012 NSS unit started with 100 volunteers under DAVV indore.

On 15 Sept. 2012 plantation has been done,50 plants were planted in CDGI campus and the chief guest was Dr. Prakash Garhwal.

From 23 Jan. to 29 Jan 2013, 7 days NSS special camp was organized at village Tillore Khurd under the guidance of Mr. Gautam Singh (Program officer, NSS)

From 24 Feb to 2 March 2013 - one Student participated in state level NSS camp with NSS Program officer.

From 27 Feb to 5 March 2012 - 5 students participated In district level NSS camp at Rangwasa, Indore.

From 13 March to 19 March - 3 students participated in University level NSS camp at IET DAVV Hostel.

Mechanical Engineering Department

The Department focuses on the overall development of students in a close-knit and motivating environment for the  exchange of ideas. Every staff member is technically and academically sound in their respective fields, and we offer our students an opportunity to work one-to-one with the faculty in advancing the frontiers of knowledge. Student Achivements

Aalekh Prajapati had successfully facilitated the Rio +20 India mission as Campus Ambassador for UNITED NATIONS Conference on Sustainable Development. (Feb-April 2013)

Damini Jaiswal & Ankita Bansal won the 2nd Prize in Poster Making Competition during Technochill-2013 held in VITS, organized by ISHRAE Student Chapter, Indore.

Sudheer Nimawat won 2nd prize in the International Conference on Safety at IIT Gandhinagar on Oct 2012.

Mr. Ashish patidar - National Paper presented on topic “Multi- Product Multi- Operation Optimization of Responsive Manufacturing System with Energy Objective by Taguchi Loss Function” at B.M. College of Engg., Indore

Mr. Swapnil Bhurat - International Paper presented on topic “Design for Manufacturing and Assembly of Washing Machine” Conducted by ICADET ISBN: 978-93-81693-88-8 on 8th Feb.2013 at Indore and also awarded the Best paper.
