Chameli Devi Group of Institution is a philanthropic initiative of the well-known Agrawal Group of Madhya Pradesh. It was started in the year 2006 by his Holiness Shri Awadeshanda Giriji. It has a sprawling lush green 20-acre campus on Khandwa Road. CDGI offers UG courses in six streams and a Master’s Degree program in Business Administration. It is affiliated with RGPV, Bhopal (NAAC A+) and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
The Department of Innovation and Research (DIR) at CDGI is committed to promote an atmosphere of Research and Innovation. The department intends to motivate students and staff to take up projects with both innovative and entrepreneurial values with emphasis on converting their academic efforts into a career prospect. Priority is accorded to projects involving multi-disciplinary concepts.
DIR aims to implement associated activities like industrial research and development, entrepreneurship, skill development through specialised and vocational training, Industrial training. The department is envisioned to have far-reaching implications in providing additional opportunities of self-employment and career aspects.

The National Conference on Patents & Copyrights (NCSPC - 2022) is organized by the department of Innovation & Research at CDGI, Indore, with the objective of bringing together innovative minds from the fraternity of scientists, professors, research scholars, students and industrial experts in the field of Technology and Management on a common platform. The primary goal of the conference is to bring together the innovative brains of researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners at one forum for exchange of their innovation, ideas and scientific information amongst a selected pool of researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners which can be transformed into Copyrights and Patents. NCSPC also aims to provide a fillip to the idea of promoting intellectual property rights (IPR) amongst the creative masses towards overall growth of the society. NCSPC-2022 will be held at Chameli Devi Group of Institutions, Indore, India. All the accepted innovations and copyrights (after peer review) will be published in Indian Official Journal of the Patents.
